What happens when you press the button
-
Reading the site
Up to eight public pages: the home page, product, pricing, about and similar. Demander follows robots.txt and never logs in, fills forms or reads anything behind a sign-in.
-
Profiling the product
What the product does, the category, value propositions, proof such as customer counts or certifications you publish, pricing if it is public, and the competitors you mention.
-
Planning personas and funnel
The buying committee with the pains and channels of each role, the messaging pillars, and the funnel stages with a goal, channels and an offer for each.
-
Designing creatives
Three creatives laid out in the colours, fonts and logo found on your site, for the channels the plan leads with.
What the snapshot shows and what sign-up adds
| Part of the plan | In the snapshot | After sign-up |
|---|---|---|
| Product profile | Yes, in full | In your workspace, with its source pages |
| Personas | Two, with pains and channels | All of them, with market validation and weights |
| Messaging | Two messages | The whole message map across stages and personas |
| Funnel | Every stage with channels and offer | The journeys and the media plan with budgets |
| Creatives | Three images | Every format for every channel, editable |
| Campaigns | Not included | Built and ready for review, in sandbox |
What happens to the data
The snapshot only reads pages anyone can open. It is kept for seven days so you can come back to it, then deleted unless you sign up and import it into a workspace. If someone else entered the same website in the last week, you see that snapshot instead of a new crawl.
Signing up with the snapshot imports it as it is: nothing is crawled twice. The full plan is then generated inside your workspace, where you review it before anything goes out. Read more in the privacy policy.
Questions people ask
Is the snapshot really free?
Yes. No card and no account are needed to see it. There is a limit on how many snapshots one connection can start in a day, to keep the service available for everyone.
Can I run it on a competitor’s website?
You can run it on any public website. The plan is written as if you were that company, so it shows how Demander reads a site; it is not a competitive analysis.
Why only two personas in the preview?
The preview shows enough to judge whether the plan understands your product. The full plan, with every persona and creative, is generated in your workspace after sign-up, under the trial.
Does it work for B2C products?
It works best for B2B, where it maps a buying committee. For consumer products it proposes customer segments instead.
